Campaigners meeting!
On the 3rd February 2017, the GCS are holding their first event as a global campaign. As part of this, there is going to be a presentation from Susan Curtis, the leader of the GCS. There will also be different platforms that you can explore. This is more of an information evening and it gives you the opportunity to talk to some of the GCS leaders, staff, and representatives, as well as giving you the opportunity to sign up to the campaign and actively be a part in all of the upcoming events.
The "Hands On" event is the second global event run by the GCS, and this is a very practical event. It will consist of several different platforms representing different subjects, and then other platforms giving you situations that you will face daily as an adult, so that yo ca actively compare the difference between what is taught and the skills you'll need as an adult. It also gives all attenders an insight as to why we follow the ideologies and values that we do, as well as giving you the chance to speak to key figures of the GCS and sign up to our campaign.
This particular event is aimed more at those who has signed up to GCS. It will consist of a meeting based around ow we, as a globalised campaign, can make an even bigger difference, and how we can portray our values and ideologies to the public. Although, this event is open to those who have not signed up to the GCS, as long as a booking is pre-arranged! Pizza lunch and drinks will be provided! Come along and make a difference!
