What are our aims?

Here at The GCS, our main aim and aspiration is to improve what is taught in Secondary Education, and alter it so that it is more worthwhile and relevant to every day life as an adult. This is because the average teenager spends roughly 35 hours a week in the school environment, not to mention the extra work, exam prep, and revision that they do at home. We believe that if a student is putting in this much time and effort to their studies, they should be at least working towards something that will have benefits on them in the long run. Therefore, if we make the content taught in schools more relevant and applicable to everyday life, the students will see the need in putting in this much time to their studies, as well as making them more willing to learn the material they are being taught.

How do we want to do this?

As the GCS, we are a peaceful campaign and we rely purely on the support from our campaigners and supporters. We try and achieve our aims through presentations, raising awareness, practical activities, and many more fun and engaging events!

What can you do to help us?

You can support us by coming to some of our events, signing up to our email list, liking and joining our Facebook page, spreading the word, joining our campaign, or just helping us raise awareness overall!

Our Background

We were founded in 2014, although we were a very small campaign. In 2016, we became global, after years of trying, and now, we aim to make a difference globally instead of independently.
